Tomorrow, May 22nd from 11am to 1pm, all residents of Ashton Wood are invited to a fun OPEN HOUSE at the POOL and Tennis facility.
This event will give you a chance to visit the pool and tennis area plus see some neighbors that you have not for awhile due to Covid 19 restrictions.
This event is a great time for Swim / Tennis members to pick up their badges and receive the gate code.

Maximum occupancy for the pool area itself is 25 people. If there are people waiting, please limit your total time inside the pool fenced-in area to one hour.

As you know, 2021 has been an interesting year. COVID-19 has required all of us to make changes in how we work, how we travel, how we communicate, how we worship…it has impacted nearly every aspect of our lives.
As we approached summer, the HOA Board faced some tough decisions about pool operations. We announced a few weeks ago a set of rules based on the situation at the time, which has changed. Due to changes in advice from Georgia government, we have made adjustments to the pool rules.
Adjustments made to the pool rules since last year, and since those announced earlier this year, are summarized below. Please read all the pool rules posted on the web site, as the list below is a partial summary.
- No Waiver Required
- Guests do not need to be related to you
- Maximum of 10 members in your group at the pool, including your guests
- Please only use the pool for a total of an hour if others are waiting due to posted capacity limits
- Current posted capacity limit is 25 persons
- Grill is available for use
- Garbage receptacle is available for use

Here are some important facts you will want to know about the upcoming pool season for Swim/Tennis members:
As was done last year, waivers will be required to use the pool in the 2021 season.
For the 2021 pool season, out-of-neighborhood parents, grandparents, or grandchildren of swim/tennis members may use the pool according to the other pool rules if appropriate waivers are in place using the same procedures as last year. This is an adjustment to the rules we hope will be seen as for the better.
Except for the above change, the rules for pool access will remain the same as last year, including all COVID-19 protocols and capacity limits. We remain cautious in the COVID-19 times, but are hopeful that this will be the last year such modified operations will be necessary. Last year’s pool experience was a successful one for Swim/Tennis members and we look forward to another great season.
