What a wonderfully colorful and festive neighborhood at the holiday season this year!
The front entrance was decorated beautifully and many homes were clearly vying to be crowned the “best decorated.” Thank you to all who made our neighborhood so beautiful this year!
Congratulations to Joe Jankauskas of Ironwood Hill Court for achieving the judged prize of “Best Decorated Christmas House.”
Everyone is invited to the neighborhood Christmas Caroling on Sunday, December 23rd, from 6 – 8 p.m. Carolers will meet at the Perez home, intersection of Ashton Ridge and Ironwood Briar.
Frances Rolader is heading up the event and needs volunteers to help with details. A fire pit and hot chocolate will be provided to help keep you warm. You can text Frances at 678-595-7071, if you are willing to help her in any capacity. Check out the Ashton Wood Neighbors facebook page for further details.
As this is an outdoor event, if it is raining the event will be cancelled.
You are invited to attend the annual AWHOA Meeting which is open to all residents. This meeting will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at 2327 Ironwood Hill Court. The purpose of this meeting is to review the accomplishments of the AWHOA in 2018 and establish goals for 2019. We will also elect board members for 2019, and then they will elect the officers for the year.
The food drive on November 3rd was a success! Thank you to everyone who participated.
Condolences to the Russell family. Steven Russell, our neighbor in Ashton Wood, passed away November 19th.
Condolences to the Hornaday family. Brenda Hornaday, a long time resident of Ashton Wood, passed away on Friday, December 7th.
