Pool News

The pool is open for all paid 2017 Swim /Tennis HOA Members. To keep Pool Membership fees as low as possible, we do rely on volunteers to help keep the pool and deck area clean. There is a signup sheet in the pool house. It is quite easy and only takes a few minutes a day to do. Please sign up! If you are not members and are thinking about joining you should drive by and check out the pool and tennis courts. We have two lighted tennis courts and the large pool is excellent for swimming laps, exercise or just cooling off. The application for HOA pool/tennis membership is on the last page.

Backyard Garden Tour

If you weren’t there Saturday, you missed it for this year.  Our neighborhood gardener’s handiwork was fantastic.  Some were labors of love that have spanned 24 years and some were much newer and are still evolving and growing. The gardeners were excited to talk about their yards, share information, and tell their stories.  It was a great time for getting to know more of your neighbors and to enjoy the beauty of nature. If you missed it, I am so sorry. My 13yr. old was not that into going with my wife and I but it was so inspiring and beautiful she went back to the car to get her camera.

Thank you to all the neighbors who are participating:

  • Robert and Reba Burch           2287 Ironwood Hill Court
  • Joe Jankauskas                        2322 Ironwood Hill Court
  • Louis and Mary Phillips            2858 Ashton Hill Drive
  • Bill and Myrna Zimmerman      2150 Ashton Ridge Drive

Neighborhood Alert!

A resident reported that they heard a disturbance outside during the night and saw a coyote and their cat facing off. The coyote ran off when approached by the resident. The cat did suffer some injuries and obvious trauma. I have seen a coyote sniffing around my neighbor’s garage door and another time as late as 8:30 in the morning one was lurking around in my neighbor’s backyard. Please be cautious about leaving pets unattended outside. They are predators of all small animals.
